WinScribe announces Strategic Expansion into Europe

Zurich, January 10, 2005 - WinScribe today announced the opening of a new sales office in Switzerland. The modern premises are centrally located in Zurich close to Bellvueplatz. The team will be headed by Pierre Corboz, Sales Manager Continental Europe.

Pierre, formally Sales and Marketing Manager of Dictaphone Europe, brings a wealth of experience within the digital dictation market to the WinScribe team. With 10 years in Sales and Marketing, Pierre's primary focus has been on areas such as sales channel development, sales training and extensive market analysis in both local and developing markets.

Additionally, having lived and worked many years abroad, in such diverse places as South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand and Germany, means Pierre is well versed in the complexities and difficulties of cross cultural communication and admits "I love traveling, discovering other cultures and "trying" to better understand them".

Pierre is also a very active person listing painting, illustrating, skiing, and diving among his many hobbies and talents. He is fluent in French, German and English and, with his enthusiasm, energy and passion for sales, will drive the development of the WinScribe European market.

"The needs of the European dictation market are rapidly evolving", states Pierre. "Workplace practices change, and what was suitable five years ago may no longer be applicable today. WinScribe aims to ensure our product continues to reflect market requirements and that our sales team is aware of new trends and products in the global dictation world. The European team will be focused on growing the reseller channel and support network, further developing relationships with Technology Partners and increasing product awareness within the European market.
